I know its been a while and I'm a total slacker. I have still been drinking lots of water and taking my green tea pills. I had to go buy a size 10 pants today. The size 11 pants are now 2 inches to big and the size 10 is just a little tight. So my goal will be to get them to fit right. I remeasured myself and my "tire" is still at 37 inches. I have dropped 2 pants sizes and not lost an inch. I'm not entirely sure how that works. So i'm going to start exercising again. The only issue with this week is that I work all night Tues and Thurs so I'll have to figure something out there.
One thing I have noticed is that my bras are not fitting right. They are to big so I googled how to get your correct bra size.
To get the correct band size you measure around yourself just under your breasts. Its important that the band fits snugly so that it can support 80 to 90 percent of the weight and take that stress off the shoulder straps. If you end up with an odd number (I measured as a 33) then you go to the next even number up (I'd be a 34). Better to be a little loose than too tight. If your bra is to tight it can cause problems.
Always try the bra on. If the band goes up your back its too big go a size smaller.
Now to find the right Cup size you measure around the fullest part of your breasts. Usually right across the nipples. (I measured a 37) Then take that number and subtract your band size (37-33=4) now that number will determine what cup size you have. 1 is an A, 2 is a B, 3 is a C, 4 is a D, Etc.
Now this would tell me my bra size is a 34D. The tricky part with this is that not all 34D's are made the same way. Different companies make different cup volumes. A 38D is not the same cup volume as a 34D, or 32D. If you try on a 36B and the cup size fits but the band is too big you are going to want a 34C. That way the cup size will fit and so will the band. Its very important to try on the bra you are buying to make sure that it fits right.
General advice about getting a bra fitting:
The band size (or chest size) is the number part of your bra size. The cup size is the letter part. EX: if you are in a 36 B, then 36 is the band and B is the cup.
You are not going to get as good of a measurement as someone else would by measuring yourself. Let someone else measure you.
A measurement CAN be done over the bra you are wearing AND over your T-shirt. If you plan on getting fitted, don't wear a thick shirt like a sweatshirt or sweater.
If you have large and/or sagging breasts, then when the person is taking your band measurement, you should pull up on your bra's shoulder straps so that she can get the measuring tape under your breast for an accurate measurement.
EX: I had 2 different sale ladies "fit" me a year ago. One did not have me pull up on my straps and told me I was a 44DD. The size seemed to work but I was messing with my bra all day long and the wire kept poking me. I went back and a second lady "fitted" me and had me pull up on my straps and came out with a 40 DDD, which turned out to be my "true" size. The wire stopped hurting me and I stopped messing with my bra while I wore it.
If you wear a bra with padding or stuff your bra, then you are not going to get an accurate measurement. If you plan on getting fitted, wear a bra without padding.
Not all fittings will tell you the "right" size, but will give you a good place to start at usually.
Try on different styles of bras. Every style fits and feels different and can "shape" your breast differently.
Don't rush trying on bras. Really pay attention to how they fit and feel. Go bra shopping when you know you have the TIME for it. Many women have had to take up to an hour or more trying on several different sizes and styles to find the bra that gave them the fit and feel they wanted.
If your bra fits correctly, it should NOT be painful or uncomfortable to wear.
So now I need to do the hard part... Finding one that fits!

Backlash!
Well its what I get for not working out for a week. I'm back to 37 inches. I have been watching my food intake but I drank a lot of Mountain Dew this week and with not working out all I was doing was adding to that fat. So I've gotta work extra hard to make sure it stays off.
I did the turbo sculpt again and my legs are shaking like crazy! I tried really hard to focus on the muscles and make it a point to feel the burn. The lunges are still hard to do. My knees have been hurting a lot lately so I need to focus on making sure I warm up and stretch my knees and then work hard to get the lunges down. I did see a difference though. I was able to get through more of the workout with more energy than I was able to before.
So my goal tomorrow is to stretch my knees out before work, during, and then after right before I work out tomorrow night. Work on getting them stronger. I don't need any more Dr bills. I will need to take the cucumber and an apple to work with me as snacks and some dinner to eat later more towards midnight.... Or maybe at the first of the shift and then use the snacks for later so that I have the extra time to digest dinner and just the right boost to eat before I get home. That's probably better.
Well It starts the count down to Halloween! I have 2 weeks before the pictures and 3 before Halloween so I need to make sure I'm working on this every day. Gotta keep it up. ONE DOWN!

No workout tonight
I'm working all night so no workout tonight... Last night I got home and I felt so bloated, No idea why. I sat and watched TV for a while but didn't feel any better.
I have been drinking way more water, and since I'm taking the green tea pills which have caffeine in them its easier to just drink water because I'm not getting the headaches.
Dave's such a sweetheart. He bought me some chicken and other dinner ideas. I've found that even though I'm watching how much I eat I am always hungry! I just don't know how much of that is contributed to my birth control and how much is actually me. Hence all the water. Drinking more water helps keep you less hungry.
I did measure myself though and I lost a whole inch! I'm down to a 36. I'm pretty impressed with myself. I'm starting to see it in my sides. I just gotta get focused again. Tomorrow will probably be just a 20 min work out to get back in the buzz with it, I have to be up early on Thursday. My pants are really starting to loosen. I'm going to measure again tomorrow night to see if its me or if my pants are just wearing in.... lol

Pushing it
So towards the end of today I could feel the burn in my butt. Definite soreness there. A very good sign. Soreness means I worked the muscles to a building point. I just did the 20 min Ab jam today, but I wore the sculpting gloves and I pushed myself. I could feel the burn while I did it.
I was able to tighten my belt by one notch today and the new pants I just got already feel loose. now whether that's because I'm stretching them out or I'm losing fat I don't know, but tomorrow is measuring day so I'll work extra hard with a good cardio session and we'll measure before and after. See what kinda progress we've made in just one week!

Shakey leggs!!!
I'm really frustrated tonight. I have energy and I can feel that I want to work my abs and chest more but my legs are so shaky I'm so tired. Ugh I did the Turbo scuplt tonight with the 3 lb weights and got through 95% of it and started the Ab Jam and didn't get very far. I tell you though I'm shaky and sweaty and tired. That's a good feeling. I'm going to cook me some eggs and down more water. 

Definitely a productive night tonight. I wish I could work my abs more but best not to push my limits it can make me sick. My next goal is to stretch more. I need to improve my flexibility badly. So working on lunges to improve my leg strength and stretch more so that I am more flexible. That will be what I focus on the next couple months.
Its hard to make my goals over a period of months and not weeks. But I have to be realistic in my goals. I know that its better to do the exercises right than do a lot of them. So its way better to take your time to improve your technique then to hurry it and possibly injure yourself.
With the start of October coming hopefully I'll see a change by the end. Guess we'll have to see!

I promise I haven't been slacking
Ok I know I haven't written for a few days, but I promise I have not been slacking. I'm still taking my Green tea pills everyday and I'm making sure I drink lots of water. I bought a 1 liter water bottle I've been toting around with me.
've been looking at healthy foods and ways to work out. Beets supposedly help burn belly fat and Grapefruits help lower insulin levels so that you can loose weight. I've been making sure to not eat as much red meat and look to eat at home more than eating out. Which isn't only healthier its also a good financial decision. I went and bought some apples and cucumbers to bring to work to eat as snacks.
So I looked around for my hand weights and I could not find them! So I went and bought 3 lb weights at Wal-mart and guess what turned up yesterday? Ya one of the 2 lb weights. Goodness. I've been paying attention to my arms though. My right arm is so much stronger because its my dominant arm. I use it for everything! Washing dishes, vacuuming, even washing my hair and brushing my teeth, so its no wonder its the stronger arm. So when I go grocery shopping I'll carry the basket or bags with my left arm. And I've been toting around a 2 lb weight and have been practicing bicep curls.

That's why gym walls are covered in them. You need to watch yourself so that you can see if you are doing the workout correctly. That makes a huge difference. If you aren't doing it correctly your not going to see the right results.
I did also find a good but workout too. It is supposed to get rid of saggy butts. I'm not sure what exactly a saggy butt is but I'm sure I don't want to. But I did it without weights and I could feel it in my muscles. So I'm going to practice that one too.

Dying already!
So today I decided to do the Turbo Sculpt. I made it through just about 20 min. I'm sweating like a pig and shaking. I'm so out of shape! I did try and start out with 5 lb weights though. I need to find my 2 lb weights or go get some 3 lb weights...
At the middle of my belly bulg I'm 37 1/2 inches. My thighs are both at 22 1/2 inches. Calves are both 13 1/3 inches. My right bicep is 11 1/2 inches but my left is just under 11. So I definately need to wor on that one. Just under my ribs we've got 33 inches.
Now that I've seen that one I know what to expect and work towards. I'll have to do it next time without any weights or just the turbo gloves. That way I can get through the entire work out.
So right now I'm getting all my measurements...

Starting the Battle!
So for years I've been talking about working out and getting back in shape. I gained a lot of weight because I didn't watch what I eat. I take birth control in the form of the Depo shot. One of the downsides to this is that it makes you hungry. Now when I was in the bad relationship that kept me eating, I was so stressed that I was loosing weight so eating all the time kept me at a modest weight.
Well now I'm in a wonderful relationship and I am happy, no stress there. So all eating all the time did was made me gain weight. That equals stretch marks and having to buy all new clothes and I feel very unattractive. I myself just don't feel good.
So I went out and bought my self turbo jab. If you haven't heard of it go to www.beachbody.com and check it out. Its kickboxing and dancing while working out. The same moves you do in a gym but way fun and you get good results and you feel a difference even after one workout.
I got all the workouts. My main focus is my abs. I love flat abs and strong arms. That with Green tea that I get from Wal-mart and I'm doing good. I take green tea every day and I've already lost inches in my waist and the love handles are starting to go away.. that annoying tire around my middle. So that combined with Turbo Jam and I'm positive I'll get the results I want.

I'll get my weight on here and inches as soon as I can. I encourage people to go out and see what works for you. try a few things out, go with a friend, and remember!
